We are only weeks away from the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix, and going hand-in-hand with the Grand Prix, is some fantastic Aussie talent on the line up for the AusGP Sessions.
One increasing trends we are finding with sports events held in Melbourne over the last handful of years, is the live act line up that accompanies these large-scale events.
Most recently, we have seen the Melbourne Cup Carnival incorporate a festival of Australian performances across the key days of racing at Flemington Racecourse since the inception of The Park; which hosts Fashions on the Field, a smorgasbord of Melbourne’s most delicious eateries, stylish bars, a whole lot of fun and interactive activities for the not so interested punter, and of course, the live acts stage.
We have also seen the Australian Open introduce AO Live Stage, which this year alone hosted some of the hottest international acts in 2020, including Fatboy Slim, Hayden James, Ziggy Alberts, Lime Cordiale, Thelma Plum and The Veronicas.
And the trend continues for the Australian Grand Prix, with the inclusion of AusGP Sessions to their 2020 event, situated within the circuits hub for all things food, drinks and entertainment; M-Lane.
With an array of Aussie talent taking the stage, Melbourne duo Peking Duck headline the
2020 installment of the AusGP Sessions, who performed this week at the Fire Fight Bushfire Relief fundraiser, hosted by Celeste Barber.
Having seen Peking Duk perform countless times, the boys always ensure that every set is pedal to the metal, add in a gridlock of super cars and fast pace, we can guarantee a high energy performance that you will be boasting to everyone about!
Peking Duk also share the stage with fellow Aussies Client Liaison, Bag Raiders, Mashd n Kutcher, Tigerlily and more, all of whom know how to drive their sets to ensure that the dancefloor is filled and jumping for each day of the Grand Prix weekend.
AusGP Session will run from Thursday, 12th - Sunday, 15th March. To have a detailed look at the AusGP Sessions 2020 schedule, head to the Australian Grand Prix website, where you can buy tickets to the full 3 days, or singular days depending on your music taste!
*Patrons with a Grand Prix ticket already have automatic entry to the AusGP Sessions each night of their valid ticket.
