This year has seen Dutch duo, Avao, smashing out track after track, producing everything from high tempo fist pumpers to melodic trance ballads. Their latest release, ‘Feel It Again’ sees them team up with American vocalist, Linney, to create a smashing trance-infused, progressive house summer anthem and it’s one of my favourites yet!
Avao first gave us a taste of this track last year at Dreamstate Melbourne, where I was lucky enough to see this live and boy have we been waiting for this release since.
This track boasts that traditional Avao signature high energy sound greeting you throughout with feel-good trance waves. Starting with soft piano strokes and light violin chords, you are then met with Linney’s incredible vocals which just leave a chill all over. It doesn’t take long for it to get into the uplifting drop. Within 30 seconds the track is greeted by a melodic build-up that makes you want to explode.
The lyrics in this track are simple yet tugs at your heartstrings. With its energy, sweet sounds, bone-crushing basslines and melodic build-ups, this Euro beach vibe track is set to have you dancing no matter the occasion.
If you are not in the mood for a dance and looking for a more chilled out vibe, Linney has produced an acoustic version of ‘Feel It Again’ which is beyond incredible. The second I heard it I instantly was met with tears.
