It is always great to see an electronic music producer step foot into the world of pop music. Electronic music producers like Madeon, Skrillex, Tchami and Boys Noize have already been announced as fellow collaborators on Lady Gaga’s forthcoming album, ‘Chromatica’, and this has the whole dance music industry hyped up for its release. Adding to the levels of excitement for this album is the revelation that iconic Swedish producer, Axwell, has co-produced three tracks for ‘Chromatica’.
This news comes thanks to his reply to a fan’s question on Twitter. We now know that Axwell was directly involved in three tracks from ‘Chromatica’, named; ‘Free Woman’, ‘Sine from above’, and ‘Alice’. It turns out that Axwell has teamed up with American musician and songwriter Blood Pop for this project.
Similar to other major events in the industry, the launch date of ‘Chromatica’ was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, as it was previously scheduled to be released on 10 April 2020. But considering the multitude of quality artists on this 16 track album including Ariana Grande, Ryan Tedder, Elton John, and Blackpink, we believe it will be worth the wait.
‘Chromatica’ is out 29 May on Interscope Records.
