Back in May Behind The Decks reported the news that Australia’s own Flume had teased us followers with a remix of the iconic ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee)’ by Eiffel 65 on his Instagram page (our article can be found here). It was a short and sweet little snippet, complete with a hilarious clip of Flume with a blue face. We laughed when it came out and collectively, we hoped for and demanded more!
Thanks to the power of the people, we can now share the full remix in all its glory. Flume finally dropped the full remix on his Instagram page saying that he had “read your comments & slapped together this bad boi 4 ur listening pleasure”.
The remix is as good as we had hoped it to be and more. Without losing the hallmark traits that made us fall in love with the original track 20 years ago, Flume adds his own flavour complete with deep bass, glitchy pulses and Trap undertones.
