BTD TOP 10 EDM PODCASTS YOU NEED TO BE LISTENING TO!!

In a world where we have everything at our fingertips including more music than we could ever imagine. It is hard to work out what the best way to consume it all is.

In my option Podcast are the best way to not only keep up to date with the latest and greatest music but also to discover new artists. Below are my top 10 favourite podcasts that I am listening to right now!

I have used Mixcloud for all the podcast links, it's a great app for all live sets and podcasts. If you are like me and like to listen to live sets from all the biggest festivals and shows this is the place for you. Start by following Buzzlightyear, you will not be disappointed.

The Podcasts are listed in no particular order.

1. REVEALED RADIO

Revealed Radio is the Podcast of Revealed Recordings, Hardwell's label. It's a great Podcast that keeps things fresh with a new artist hosting the show each week. Generally, it will be someone that has an upcoming track to be released on Revealed. This can also be a great taste breaker podcast and a way to discover up and coming talent. If like me you like discovering new artists to listen to and follow make sure you go back and listen to the Community yearmix. This is the best of the demos sent to Revealed from up and coming talent.

2. W&W Rave Culture Radio

W&W have recently rebranded there Label from Mainstage Music to Rave Culture. They have also moved away from hosting the show every week themselves to sharing hosting with Maurice West. Maurice has been going from strength to strength over the last year and now he has really taken off with W&W taking him under there wing. This podcast NEVER disappoints and is a great one for the gym.

3. Spinnin Sessions

Spinnin Session is the Podcast of Spinnin Records. This is another great Podcast from one of the best EDM labels in the world. The first 30 mins is made up of the biggest and best of what is happening at Spinnin right now. The last 30mins is an artist guest mix. This podcast has a huge variety of tracks and tops off with some of the biggest acts in the world on the decks to close it out.

4. Hardwell On Air & Off The Record

Hardwell could be the hardest working guy in EDM. He has been pumping out his weekly show for the better part of a decade now. Hardwell On Air was one of the first to host a weekly podcast and it has only gotten better. It is always packed with new music and great community picks.

About a year and a half ago Hardwell started his third podcast. Off the Record, this is clearly due to the massive spike in House, Future House and Base House over the last few years. I always enjoy hearing artist play outside of their noraml genre and this is no exception.

5. Eric Prydz Radio

The Man, The Myth, The Legend. ERIC PRYDZ!! Eric is noted as one of the greatest EDM artist to ever grace the decks. Not only pumping out some of the most iconic tracks of our time but pushing the boundaries of sound and lighting. His show can be few and far between and is mostly a Trance and Techno set.

6. Don Diablo - Hexagon Radio

Don Diablo has cemented himself as the premier House and Future house act on the planet right now. His Podcast is a great mix of his own releases and the best track off his label Hexagon.

7. Lucas & Steve - Skyline Sessions

Lucas and Steve are the new kids on the block in the world of EDM podcast. However, Skyline sessions does not disappoint it is a great reflection of their live sets and it is my favorite podcast at the moment. Many of you may not know who Lucas and Steve are, if you want to see what there all about download there 100 episode, IT IS A BANNGER!!

8. Armin Van Buuren - A State of Trance

Once again what is there to say about Armin? The only thing I will say is that there is A State of Trance the Podcast and the Festival shows. So if you are into Armin you can get 2 shows. Also can be a great Taste breaker if you are not into trance this can be a great podcast to get you into it.

9. Oliver Heldens - Heldeep Radio

There is a great argument that Oliver Heldens is on par if not better than Don Diablo. Oliver's podcast is one of my favorite house podcasts that consistently delivers. Like the others its the best of Oliver and his label Heldeep.

10. The Martin Garrix Show

Martin has been putting out his weekly show for a few years now. It is a great mix of house and the banngers you expect from the worlds #1. The first 30 mins is his favorite house tracks followed by mix 2 (2nd 30mins) which is full of his banngers.
