Calvin Harris is leaving his ivory tower, better known as Sin City, Las Vegas, and is back once again, on tour!!
The last time Calvin played in Australia was 2014 at the most iconic Australian festival to grace our shores, Stereosonic. The line up was as good as any European festival today; 2 days filled with acts we now travel half way around the globe for, such as W&W, Alesso, Tiesto and more.
It seems only fitting that the company that was once involved with Stereo, would bring Calvin to our shores once more!
One Love is rehashing its mark on the Australian festival scene by bringing out one of the biggest acts on the planet.
However, there has been mixed reactions to the iconic Scotsmen. Some say he has lost the passion for touring and the only reason he is doing it, is for the cash, while others saying he is not as good as he used to be.
For anyone that has questioned if Calvin has lost his touch or his passion, I ask you to watch the below video.
Personally, I am very excited to see him; in this new era of the festival circuit, we are finding dj's reach for new heights and setting their own limits high; they are no longer in competition with other headliners, but are competing with their own previous show to leave lasting memories on the crowd when they play.
I have been expecting a new show for Calvin's return, and judging by what he brought to Creamfields on the weekend, I am expecting big things from his set at Festival X!!
