DASH IS BACK!!!

This week, I had the absolute pleasure of being introduced to Dash Berlin’s epic new remix of “Cold Summer” by Myon & Icon and can I tell you DASH IS BACK!!! The track was released October 11th and when listening, I felt like a kid on Christmas day opening a new gift; the excitement was real. The remix has all the elements of an iconic Dash track, it is filled with heart-grabbing cords that truly transform Myon’s Cold Summer into a trance classic. It left me wanting to stand there with my hands in the sky, eyes closed, feeling the music; it delivered the true FEELS!

June brought so much joy to people when Jeffrey Sutoriu relaunched himself as a solo act, maintaining the original Dash Berlin, after announcing his spilt from Dash Berlin trio in 2018. Since his return, he has been making waves again in a very, very good way.

We have seen Jeffery begin touring again, with his first festival back in the spotlight being at Ultra Japan. If you have not watched this yet, do yourself a favour and get watching! I have watched this set on repeat since it dropped and Jeffery has brought back all those much-loved Dash tracks, the ones that each time I hear them, they hit me right in the heart and being a smile to my face. On top of the classics, Jeffery brings this newly found, beyond electric energy; it’s evident that performing is his passion, he is making himself known again and bringing back the Dash Berlin we all love.

The announcements of Jeffery refocusing on his solo career and retouring makes me super pumped to see what is next to come for him.

Dash Berlin has not graced the shores of in Australia since 2017, where Symbiotic presented his Australian tour, supported by Aussie trance icon, MaRLo. I bet all trance fans would totally agree with me the he is well and truly overdue for a comeback!!!

My hope is that either Transmission Australia or Ultra Australia will bring Dash Berlin in their future announcements. Upon some digging, currently Dash Berlin only has 1 tour locked down for February – Ultra South Africa and nothing announced for March. Having locked in a number of Ultra shows, could this mean we will see him make an appearance at the upcoming, anticipated Ultra Australia, or will it go the other way and be announced for Transmission??? This girl can dream, and I will be dreaming BIG for this one. We will just have to wait and see what’s yet to unfold, but we are screaming from the roof tops; BRING BACK DASH!!!
