Eric Prydz coming to Australia to continue support for James Lillo.

Eric Prydz made headlines back in December 2016 for his selfless response to a dedicated fan diagnosed with terminal cancer, who wanted to see one final show from his idol, James Lillo. Prydz made arrangements to fly the fan out to LA for a personal show, a benefit gig for James and for a charity of his choice, Cancer Research Institute. Unfortunately, James passed away before the concert in his honour was held. Prydz continued to play two sold out shows in LA, raising over $60,000USD for the Cancer Research Institute.

A couple of days later, Prydz debut a very special song dedicated to his superfan called “Lillo” on his EPIC Radio Show.

This morning (Sunday 03/11/19) Australian and New Zealand fans woke up to a very special post on Prydz Instagram. A photo of a gift, accompanied by a Thank You letter from James Lillo’s parents.

The letter reads:

“Dear Eric,

Our family wishes to thank-you for making James so elated and immortal – all his friends and family have received these presents that were made by a local artist. His friends chose colors that reminded them of James. The colors were sprinkled with a bit of his ashes.

Your colors were chosen by the artist after she listened to the wonderful song you wrote in his memory.

We hope that you will accept this gift with all that you have done for James, our family, and cancer research.

We would be delighted if you held onto James or found a place for him to rest. He loved to travel the world… so wherever you feel best is perfect.

P.S. He always dreamt of going to Australia.

Much love to you and your entire team,

Love Liz & Bryon

James Lillo’s Parents”

Underneath the photo in true Prydz fashion, he left a very cryptic message

“Let’s go to Australia buddy…”

Could this mean an Australia tour is in the works?!

At the moment there is very little to go on, however, we have reached out to Eric’s manager, but no statement has been provided as of yet. If we get a response, we will keep you updated!
