Last July, Eric Prydz debuted his newest live show, Holosphere. The Swedish producer and his team spent two years developing the audiovisual spectacle. After debuting Holosphere at the first weekend of Tomorrowland 2019, the show did not happen again during the festival's second weekend due to structural damage to the roof of the stage.
And while Prydz and his team had plans to bring Holosphere back to Tomorrowland in 2020 and also Creamfields 2020 in the UK, hope and dreams of seeing the spectacle were shredded to pieces due to COVID-19.
An announcement has been posted on Prydz’s socials stating that he's bringing Holosphere to the 2021 editions of both of these mega festivals. The announcement video includes 1 minute and 15 seconds of Holosphere's truly dazzling visuals set to Prydz's 2015 hit 'Opus'.
The news gives dance music fans something to look forward to, aside from livestreams. Holosphere is part of Prydz's EPIC (Eric Prydz In Concert) series, which for the last decade has delivered massive and technically cutting-edge limited run performances for audiences in North America and Europe.
