EVERYTHING WE KNOW ABOUT TOMORROWLAND 2019.

Now that the dust has settled on ticket sales and the first wave of artist let's dive into everything that has happened and what is coming up!!

Tomorrowland is not known for doing things in halves so I can see this year being one of there biggest yet!! They are revisiting an old mainstage theme The Book Of Wisdom which if YouTube is anything to go by is the most popular of all the years. I don't think it will be an exact double of the 2012 stage. I think it will be bigger and better in only a way Tomorrowland can do.

For those of us that have been in years gone past you may have noticed little things. They added more actors/acrobats at the main stage and in the crowd, last year for the first time they had a water feature in the centre of the main stage dancefloor, some stages found new homes such as Arch Stage, they added new stages and Mainstage was the biggest it has ever been. I believe that they have been building to their 15th Birthday for many years and this year is going to be HUGE!!

There is a common and huge misconception that Tomorrowland sells out in under an hour. When in fact it sold out over multiple different sales over 2 weeks. The first sale took place on the 19/01/19 and the last on the 2/02/19. While it's true the final sale the Worldwide sale did sell out in an hour or less by the time this sale takes place there is only between 50,000 - 100,000 tickets left of the 600,000.

Tomorrowland did something only Tomorrowland would do and handed a lucky few 15 euro tickets. This was not a competition or giveaway it was an add on that you selected when checking out of the ticket shop. All you had to do was select that 15 euro celebration add on to your ticket and it replaced your several hundred euro tickets with a 15 euro festival ticket and camping pass.

If you are one of the lucky ones to secure a ticket to the 15th Birthday celebrations, congratulations you are going to attend something very special. If you have not got tickets then you still have a few options. The best of these is the Waitlist that will open up shortly. There are still some genuine sellers and tour companies that have tickets left but they are going fast!!

There is no surprise that the tickets are going fast with the artist that has already been announced. Armin Van Buuren, DV&LM, W&W, Timmy Trumpet, Don Diablo and so many more are leading the charge. With several waves of acts still to be announced, you can guarantee it is going to be the whos who of electronic music and I am sure that Tomorrowland has a few surprises in store for us. There is massive speculation around who will be closing the festival, with Martin Garrix confirming that he will not be on closing duties for weekend one. Many people including myself thought we would find out before the last ticket sale however that was not the case. With SHM booked at festivals in Sweden on the 19th & 20th July 2019 it would make sense that they will play Tomorrowland on Sunday.

This year we have seen 3 RnB artist announced already and while I personally don't believe that RnB belongs at Tomorrowland let's look at it practically. First off it's the stage host to nominate there acts to play and Tomorrowland. On weekend 1 there are 2 RnB acts playing on the Smash The House stage on Sunday. That is maybe 2 hours out of a 12 hour day on 1 stage of 16. RnB is hardly taking over Tomorrowland and if you don't like it just don't go to that stage during their sets.

We should see the 2nd wave of an artist coming out before the end of Feb.

Let's address the radically blow out of proportion topic of Neverland Theme Park Projects closing down. They are only one of many companies that work on Tomorrowland, they have had nothing to do with this year's event. Last year the company that supplied the tents for Dreamville closed down and the show went on.

For the lucky ones that have tickets here is some rough dates for what is coming up and when.

Hey Steph, thanks for your question. The waitlist will open soon if you have a Tomorrowland account you should get an email about it. However, keep an eye on there socails and website. Just be aware that most waitlist tickets are got camping only.
