For those living in Australia, there is a growing trend in the EDM scene here where we no longer chant the traditional “Hey Ho”, instead, replacing it with a “F*ck Yeah”. Aussie’s love a saying or a chant, and thanks to the release of this track, now the whole world knows it.

“F*cK Yeah” sees the collaboration with 4 iconic DJ's; Will Sparks, Timmy Trumpet, Code Black and Toneshifterz, in what could be THE most Aussie track the EDM world has seen. Not only does the track feature four hardstyle DJ’s, but the lyrics are supposedly sung by none other than the famous Tomorrowland MC, MC Stretch and he does it so well.

For a simplistic track, it has great elements that raise the energy and get you singing along, chanting all those F*ck Yeah’s with each one that drops. The BPM throughout hits a high level of 150 and incorporates hints of Spark’s famous Melbourne Bounce elements. With the release of this track, it proves that Melbourne Bounce is making a comeback in a good way.

The first time I took part in a “F*ck Yeah” chant was in Melbourne, I was attending Dreamstate and being from QLD I hadn’t really heard anything like it before. The chant is a HUGE Melbourne-scene chant and one that has now taken off all over Australia. If you have not experienced being at a show (especially here in Melbourne) hearing the crowd chant a “F*ck Yeah” then this track will recreate that experience and have you too singing along.

So with the growing popularity of the “F*ck Yeah”, will this take over and replace the traditional “Hey Ho”? Let see if us Aussies can start dominating with this chant and bring it internationally. I can say personally I am not even a little sad to see the “Hey Ho” replaced, let me know what you think about the new Aussie chant taking over the world!
