Yesterday marked another epic progressive house release for Protocol Recordings. Last week, we saw Nicky Romero's imprint release 200th release, this week we are met with an amazingly uplifting track 'Faith' by British duo Futuristic Polar Bears featuring vocals by LUX.
This track sees the duo return to Protocol Recording for their fourth release with the label following tracks 'I Can't Do It', 'You & Me' and their last release 'Better Than This', which was featured as part of the Protocol Vibes Miami 2020 release.
The duo are no strangers to releasing epic tracks having seen releases on other labels such as Revealed Recordings, Wall Recordings, Smash The House, Armada, Spinnin' Records and more.
Enlisting the amazing vocals of Nashville-based pop singer/songwriter, LUX, was a great choice as the track gets straight into those feel-good vibes by starting with her strong voice and welcoming lyrics. The subtle strokes of keys can be heard before you are met with the melody which begins to build within 30 seconds. By 45 seconds the track explodes with a funky upbeat progressive chorus that will have you singing along. Once you past the first drop you are taken back to those beautiful welcoming lyrics once again that see the track slows down direction. The repetition of the lyrics in the chorus "come on darling, have a little faith" are a little reminder to work on rebuilding relationships and have faith in each other. That is exactly where this track takes me and assures me that anything can be saved.
I am truly loving the amount of new music and artists we are seeing come from Protocol Recordings this year. They are setting a clear pathway as being one of the best Progressive House labels by bringing us all kinds of new goodies to get our ears around.
