Kaskade is back, bringing his deep, groove tunes for the latest Redux 004 EP

With nearly two decades worth of industry experience and a repertoire of deep, Progressive House music, including tracks such as On Your Mind, Last Chance and I Remember feat. Deadmau5, Kaskade (Ryan Raddon) has well and truly cemented his iconic groovy sounds into long term fans and music lovers.

While Kaskade has successfully brought high-energy, main stage performances to world-class events such as Coachella and Tomorrowland, more recently the American DJ has gone back to his roots, by touring and releasing music under his Redux brand.

The Redux brand sees Raddon bring a much more intimate experience for the crowd, by stripping away the over the top production and favouring more intimate venues. These continually sold out shows leave a clear vote that whilst the masses are in demand of the high-energy performances, true fans want Raddon to stay true to his Deep House roots.

With three successful EP’s produced, Redux 004 is set to amount to the same, if not bigger, success than its predecessors. It is an EP in such high demand, that all shows for the Redux 004 mini tour announced in February had sold out prior to both the EP release and COVID -19 restrictions which led to the Brooklyn Mirage show being postponed.

In March, fans were teased to not one, but two tracks from the latest Redux 004 EP, leaving fans wanting more of Kaskade’s well-known deep and intimate vibes that are associated with any Redux release.

‘Sexy’ feat. Kosha Dillz is a dancefloor-filler that incorporates simple, yet infectious vocals to the accompanying Tech-House bassline.

‘Love Like That’ feat. Dani Poppitt - a track that is neither a breakup, nor a love song is driven by a soft piano hook that leaves you humming it continually when there is no music around. This paired with the soft, yet mesmerizing vocals from Poppitt, transports you instantly to cruising through downtown Miami, roof down, enjoying the balmy sunset ahead. The EP includes two new tracks that, when combined, takes you on a journey back in music history, to a time where underground shows were all about music over production.

‘Find Love’ is a slower track to the two previously released on the EP, powered by it’s strong, repetitive vocals and a lighter, calming piano chord. This is the perfect soundtrack for those lazy Sunday morning lay-ins.

And lastly, ‘Feel It’ brings you a deep, driving bassline, accompanied with fluid, cut-up vocals, delivering more of a “chilled” track”

Kaskade was able to give back to his fans who missed the Redux 004 tour due to postponement (or due to sell out of shows), by taking Redux 004 digital. Kaskade connected with fans from the comfort of their own homes via the Digital Mirage live-stream hosted by Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade, followed by live streaming form his own personal channels.

Redux 004 provides the listener an intimate listening experience from a nostalgic dance music era, so grab a wine, set out your to-do list for the next 15 mins, and put the EP on loudly, it’s one not to be skipped on your Spotify shuffle.

Redux 004 is available now on all streaming platforms. Let us know your thoughts below!
