Let’s “Live A Little Louder” thanks to Thomas Gold

Written by Kylie Vesey

Frank Thomas Knebel-Janssen, better known by his stage name Thomas Gold, is a German DJ and producer who has been around music his entire life. Having had releases on labels such as Protocol Recordings, Armada, Axtone, Size Records, Toolroom, Spinnin’ Records, and Revealed Recordings, proving his style is extremely versatile, given the broad range of record labels he is accredited to.

The release of his latest track “Live A Little Louder” is Thomas Gold’s fifth release on Protocol Recordings and sees him bring those progressive house vibes that the label is famous for.

Now for those that follow my reviews, you will know that I am a BIG fan of all things Protocol, so when I heard of this latest progressive house track I knew I had to jump in for a review.

The story behind "Live A Little Louder" is to encourage people to seek an authentic and inspired life, encouraging all of us to be relentless in our pursuit of this. It sends a much-needed message to humanity to be brave and to stay positive in these testing times and listening to this track, that is exactly how I felt.

When the track starts there is a distinct melodic feel with pops of Progressive build-ups that are met by an uplifting drop. The soulful lyrics throughout are inspiring and have this feeling of giving hope back to people again. The chorus repeats with "Come what may let us live a little louder" and if this isn't the message we all need right now, I don't know what is.

With this track, Thomas Gold has truly shown us that MUSIC IS THE ANSWER! I cannot wait for this to be made into a festival banger to uplift just that little more.

For all you Progressive-House fans out there, have a listen and let me know what you think? I know I was instantly taken away by this one!
