This week my reviews are taking on an entirely different direction by focusing on our homegrown talent here in Australia, where I aim to bring attention to the sick work our Aussie DJ’s and producers have been crafting. To kick things off, this latest release from Lockdown is one that, I believe, will have you throwing down all over. Today I bring you the release of Lockdown’s Hard Rave Edit of 6IX9INE's track 'GOOBA' and the title says it all, it definitely goes hard.
Before the track release, Lockdown took to his socials giving a teaser at the BPM were in for and the second I put this track on I could instantly feel the energy explode.
Lockdown gives us almost 3 minutes of electric synths that hit those BPM levels whilst also winding them back between the drops to build the suspense and the energy. The track takes you on a journey of Hardstyle and Electro House and is the perfect addition to any club rotation as it had me wanting to throw down the entire time.
With the track already having over 4K streams on SoundCloud, it’s pretty clear that the response to this has been great and continues to grow. The track goes into much harder styles, one that I am not usually big on myself but this is one I was able to get around.
So what is the likelihood that we can expect to see more from Lockdown taking us into hard rave styles? Well if it is anything like this edit I am all for it. Let me know your thoughts on this remix and what you think the next weapon we may see from Lockdown?
GOOBA; Hard Rave Edit is out now for download and listening.
