MaRLo set to play to an empty club to pave the way for Australian Artists

With the tough new guidelines around social gatherings, many shows and events have been forced to cancel across Australia, and the world. This has seen artists bringing forth a very different type of platform for their fans, and MaRLo is now joining the long lists of artists changing the way they bring joy to so many.

Despite the cancellation of MaRLo’s shows this weekend (Friday night at Downtown, Adelaide and Saturday night at Marquee Sydney) he announced that the show will go on. MaRLo will be taking his Marquee Sydney show online,the latest trend we are now seeing from the EDM world in a hope to share joy in these times of need. MaRLo will be playing, for what might be the first time, to an empty crowd at Sydney’s most iconic venue, and we are super pumped to join this live online event.

In the announcement of the cancellation MaRLo wrote:

“Sydney I'm very sorry to say I will not be able to perform at Marquee Sydney this Saturday night because of the corona virus. The entire planet needs to unite together through these difficult times. I want to do my best to still share my music with everyone that is missing out, so I will be doing a special live-streamed set on Facebook this Saturday at an empty marquee from 9:00PM - 10:30PM AEDT.

We will rise as one and come back from this stronger than ever. ❤️”

This act of kindness is the first of many and we commend MaRLo for paving the way here in Australia, as it would not be easy playing to an empty crowd.
