A week ago, Martin Garrix took to his Instagram to promote the release of his latest track “Drown”, and what fans received was not only a new epic track, but confirmation that there is still more to come.
Following the release, many have compared “Drown” as the acoustic version of “High On Life”, whilst others were asking for tracks with a more progressive drop. One fan uncovered what is set to be the most talked-about track of the year when he commented on Garrix’s Instagram post and had the master DJ responded.
The fan @reillybetancournt, a 25-year-old electrician from San Diego, USA, posted “but can we get a more progressive drop on the next one pleaseeeeeee”. Garrix responded to the comment with “I’m releasing the craziest progressive house song in July! Follow up for High On Life”, see post below;
“High On Life”, released in 2018, is undoubtedly one of the best tracks Garrix has produced and looking through the comments on the post, his fans agree. This comment is the only one that Garrix has personally responded to and has since received over 602 likes.
With the tease of the follow-up track to be released in July and Garrix announced to be playing Sunday on the mainstage of Tomorrowland, one can only hope it will become the closing track for his Tomorrowland appearance. Set times have yet to be released for the Sunday, however, reviewing the lineup for Mainstage weekend 1, we have a feeling he could be closing for another year! We will bring you more on this release as it unfolds.
