2020 has already seen R3HAB release a multitude of tracks, ranging from soundtracks on Hollywood movies to dance anthems, and now he is back with what is set to be another hit. ‘Miss U More Than U Know’ is a track that brings the worlds of pop and dance together, and this one had my ears wanting more.
R3HAB is no stranger to working with Sofia Carson, as this is now his third release with the American singer/actress. ‘Miss U More Than U Know’ follows R3HAB and Sofia Carson's previous two collaborations, the pop-influenced ‘I Luv U’, as well as 2018's ‘Rumors’.
When this track starts you instantly hear Sofia’s angelic vocals, which give off this almost island vibe. As it progresses there is breezy melodies that paired up with the instrumental baselines make for a perfect afternoon track. Throughout the track, there is this very prominent, warm feeling that just radiates. The simplistic synths echo being in the Bahamas alongside a tin drum cocktail in hand dancing in the sand.
‘Miss U More Than U Know’ carries a nostalgic vibe from the heartfelt lyrics, which discuss a former flame whose memory still lingers long after they've been gone.
If you are looking for a track to take away the Corona blues, then this is one that will do just that. It’s got all the things to make for a perfect afternoon sunset, whilst making you feel like you are on a vacation.
