German disco-house producer Tino Piontek AKA Purple Disco Machine, shares his stellar new single ‘Hypnotized’ and further teasing his upcoming ‘Sophomore’ LP release due within the next year.
Since the release of his debut LP 'Soulmatic' (back in 2017), Purple Disco Machine has become an absolute icon of the global electronic scene, having recently remixed the likes of Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson, Calvin Harris, and Fatboy Slim to name JUST a few. He has had over 250 million streams across his works to date, and further to his remixes, he's seen huge success on dance-fuelled singles including 'Body Funk', 'Dished (Male Stripper)', 'Emotion', and his commercial radio hit 'Devil In Me'.
The single 'Hypnotized', features British indie band Sophie and the Giants, adding their alluring vocals to the instantly engaging melody, and funk-fuelled bassline, that has become synonymous with Purple Disco Machine records. This down-tempo record showcases Purple Disco Machine’s renowned nu-disco stylings and impresses once again, creating a modern and sophisticated take on the decade that has inspired him so greatly - the 80s.
Certified as one of the most prolific electronic artists of our generation, the Dresden born producer ranks #2 on Beatport’s all-time Top Artists, with his 2013 breakthrough hit ‘My House’ remaining as one of the platform’s best-sellers through to today. With an undeniable Midas touch, Purple Disco Machine landed himself in the record books once again in 2018, scoring inside the top 3 of Beatport’s charts four times over.
And in light of recent events, Purple Disco Machine has recently posted a playlist to Spotify - perfectly titled #StayTheFunkHome, in case you want to get a little funky at home during the lockdown. You can listen here on Spotify.
