Don Diablo pulls on heartstrings with his latest release 'Thousand Faces'.

Written by Kylie Vesey.

2020 has been a big year for Don Diablo; we have seen him DJ from swimming pools, F1 tracks and even his own bathroom, now he is back with his 8th release of the year 'Thousand Faces'.

This track is a deeply personal one that taps into the heartache attached to losing a parent. For this release, Don has paired the official music video with intimate family moments and the track itself was directed and produced by Don. The most special part of this is that ‘Thousand Faces’ is a dedication to his late father and making it even more special was dropping it on Father’s Day!

For this track, Don has teamed up with American singer/songwriter, Andy Grammer, to create the captivating vocals that really bring this track alive. When you dive into the back story and uncover the meaning behind this masterpiece, it’s clear why they both work so well together.

As mentioned, ‘Thousand Faces’ is dedicated to Don’s late father, the track becomes even more special after discovering that Andy too has lost his mother. It is evident that this is a production that brings both of their raw emotions to the surface.

When I first watched the video I was left very emotional and brought to tears. You can feel the love and the heartbreak behind each and every word that is sung. The coalition of past videos captures those beautiful family moments, making it hard not to feel emotional. It hits straight in those soft spots and for anyone who may have lost a parent, or someone they love, this will be one track that is truly relatable.

‘Thousand Faces’ is out now across all platforms. Be sure to take a listen and let those emotions flow.
