Amidst fears of the growing number of cases of coronavirus being reported, many have been left wondering if the Ultra worldwide events would be going ahead as planned.
In a statement released yesterday, Ultra confirmed that Ultra Abu Dhabi would continue as scheduled for the upcoming shows on the 5th and 6th of March. To ensure the safety of festival-goers, Ultra had taken to their website page for “health and wellness” adding a Public Health section dedicated to updating festival-goers.
Today we saw the breaking news that Ultra Abu Dhabi will no longer be going ahead. A statement has been posted on the Ultra Abu Dhabi website advising of the cancellation and it is not known if they plan to postpone the event, however, based on the messaging it appears festival-goers will be refunded tickets rather than the even being postponed.
This was set to be the very first edition in the middle east for the Ultra Worldwide circuit and with it bringing some of the biggest names in the EDM scene such as Alesso and Nicky Romero.
